Project Description: MEP designed state of the art 32,000 sqft animal shelter with public viewing rooms and kennels, veterinary clinic and community learning certified as LEED Platinum NC. Mechanical system incorporates energy-saving features including Heat Recovery, Indirect /Direct evaporative cooling and DDC building management systems. Electrical and Lighting systems utilize extensive daylighting and controls. Project was designed using AutoCAD MEP 3D package to utilize visual collision checking with structural components.
